The short version: in summer, walk up into Central Park. SummerStage runs at Rumsey Playfield all season and most shows are free, which makes it the easiest night out from here. When the weather turns or you want something closer and indoors, the Upper East Side has a couple of real music rooms a short walk away. None of this is on-site, to be clear, we don't have a venue in the building. These are the neighborhood spots we'd point a friend toward.
