Can you stay long-term at The Sixty Two?
Yes. Ten days, three weeks, a full month: this is built for it. Each unit here is a full apartment with its own front door, not a hotel room you check in and out of. No lobby, no key card. We'll text you the door code before you arrive, and you come and go as you please. The line we keep coming back to is the honest one: stay three nights or three weeks, it's your apartment either way.
The difference a longer stay makes isn't just the math on the rate. It's that you stop living out of a suitcase. You unpack. You learn which corner deli has the good coffee. You start treating East 62nd Street like your block, because for a few weeks it is.
How to get a real price for a long stay
The fastest way to see your number is to put your exact dates into the booking flow and pull a quote. Longer stays generally come in at a better nightly rate than a handful of nights, and the total shows before you commit to anything. We'd rather you see the real figure for your dates than a vague 'rates vary' line, so put in your check-in and check-out and the price is right there.
If you want to talk it through first, text us. You're not emailing a black box. I'm a real person, and I'll tell you straight whether your dates and budget line up.
What you actually get for a few weeks here
It's a real apartment, so it lives like one. You've got your own front door and your own space, the kind of place where a month feels like living here rather than visiting. We chose everything inside ourselves, down to the linens (they're linen, so they soften up after a night or two). For a longer stay that matters more than it sounds: you're not in a generic box, you're somewhere that was put together on purpose.
Because you have your own kitchen, a long stay doesn't mean eating out every night. You can shop, cook, keep a fridge that's actually yours for a few weeks. We wrote up where to buy groceries near East 62nd Street in a separate guide, and there's a neighborhood guide on the counter when you arrive.
Why the Upper East Side for a longer stay
Lenox Hill is one of the quieter places to land for an extended stay in Manhattan, and that's the point. Midtown's best blocks are the quiet ones. You're east of the crowds, the side streets are calm at night, and the walk to Central Park is about eight minutes through those quiet blocks. For ten days or a month, that calm is worth a lot more than being in the middle of the noise.
You're also well placed for the things that bring people here for a stretch: work in Midtown, family nearby, a stint at one of the hospitals on the East Side, or just a long New York summer. From here you can walk most of it and skip the rest.
What about cancellation on a longer booking?
The same policy applies whether you book three nights or thirty. You get a full refund if you cancel more than 30 days before check-in; cancellations inside 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. For a month-long stay that's worth planning around, so lock your dates once they're firm.
The short version
Long stays work well here because the place was meant to be lived in, not just slept in. Put your dates in for a quote, text us if you want to sanity-check anything first, and come and go as you please once you're in.
