This is the Upper East Side at its best—pre-war buildings, tree-lined blocks, and a pace that feels removed from Midtown's rush while remaining walking distance to everything that matters. The neighborhood is defined by its residential character: families, long-time residents, and the kind of local institutions that have anchored the area for generations. You're a block from Bloomingdale's, steps from the restaurants on Third Avenue, and surrounded by the side streets that make this part of Manhattan feel like a village within the city. The building itself is a classic pre-war walk-up—the kind with high ceilings, original details, and the bones you can't fake. We chose this location deliberately: it's close enough to Central Park, the Met, and MoMA for a morning walk, but far enough from the tourist corridors to feel like home.","arrival_md":"Getting here is straightforward. We're on East 62nd Street between First and Second Avenues. If you're arriving by taxi or rideshare, the driver can drop you directly in front of the building. There's no doorman or front desk—you'll receive detailed check-in instructions before your arrival, including how to access your apartment. The building has a keyed entrance, and you'll have your own set of keys for your apartment and the building. If you're arriving with luggage, the street-level entrance makes it easy to get settled. We recommend arriving during daylight for your first check-in, but we can accommodate evening arrivals with advance notice.","airports":[{"name":"John F.
